The Inaugural Hour of Meditation Will Be Led by
SRF/YSS President Brother Chidananda
We invite you to join us in celebrating the 2020 International Day of Yoga by participating in all or part of this special 24-hour online meditation service to be held at the SRF Online Meditation Center.
The first hour of meditation will be led by SRF/YSS president and spiritual head, Brother Chidananda, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. PDT. The remaining periods of meditation will be led by SRF and YSS monastics from Paramahansa Yogananda’s ashrams around the world.

Meditation Periods Led by SRF and YSS Monastics
The 24-hour meditation service will be led by SRF and YSS monastics and will include the following activities:
- Silent meditation
- SRF/YSS Energization Exercises
- Devotional chanting
- Healing affirmations
- Visualizations
- Prayer for those in need throughout the world
- Practice of Paramahansa Yogananda’s healing technique for others and for world peace and harmony
