Retention of Data

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates, including but no limited to Self-Realization Fellowship of Los Angeles, California (“SRF”);
  • To contractors, service providers and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of Yogananda Seva's assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by Yogananda Seva about our Users is among the assets transferred.
  • To third parties to market their products or services to you if you have consented to or not opted out of these disclosures. We contractually require these third parties to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • We may provide SRF with your personal data in order to verify your SRF membership or your participation in certain SRF programs such as SRF Lessons Study. Some Yogananda Seva programs are designed to serve SRF members and students, and require such verification.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it to us;
  • For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information; and
  • With your consent.

Additionally, Yogananda Seva may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To enforce or apply our Terms and Conditions, and other agreements, including for billing and collection purposes;

Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualise and personalise the ads of its own advertising network. You can opt-out of having made your activity on the Service available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.
